I feel stuck in a rut

I've realized that my life feels like it's going nowhere. I'm single, a virgin, and not working right now. The only positives atm are that I have a place to live, I can drive, and I'm determined to find work. Despite my efforts, I feel like I'm just wasting time and not making any real progress. I want to change things and am trying to do so, but it seems like time keeps slipping by without any improvement. I wonder if others feel the same way.

It can get you down when you are putting in a lot of effort and not seeing much improvement. But it's definitely a good idea to keep focusing on the positives and the fact that you keep on trying to change your circumstances.
I'm wondering if there is anything you could do differently just to help you feel like you aren't stuck in a rut so much? If possible trying new things, changing your routine a bit, volunteering, taking up a new hobby etc., might help ease this feeling a bit, while you are searching for work.
You definitely aren't alone in this and hopefully in time you'll get to where you want to be in life too
@Maisy maybe it's not too uncommon then. I'm looking at different stuff with how I could change things to increase my chances in getting sorted sooner as I have a new work coach who knows more information a bit more and everything so I'm hoping he can help me. It's good to focus on positives. I would be up for changing my routine too if it was like something that would help me get into work or something, sometimes hobbies can lead to people being succesful too like content creating for example. Volunteering can help get into work and it was mentioned about doing a pottential placement which might lead to a job so that might be an option, if I get paid that's definitely a bonus but it would be good if I could get a placement short term then a job out it, its pottentially an option but no garantee. Not much is garanteed tbh though, sometimes you have to take things day by day like for example when the covid pandemic happened everyone was probably planning ahead then everything came to a bit of pause for months. It's still important to plan ahead though but yh. Tbh as well I'm often unhappy in the present so I just am hoping the future is better and exciting. Thanks so much though honestly and it's reassuring hear I'm not alone.
