Sorry to hear that people don't believe you, when you talk about your feelings. Unfortunately, some people might not be able to understand our feelings, or might not know how to help or support you. But it is better to talk about your feelings, rather than keeping things bottled up. You can always write out your feelings here, if you think it might help. Another option would be to talk to a counsellor (perhaps at school/college, or by visiting your doctor and asking for a referral, or even accessing counselling through The Mix https://www.themix.org.uk/get-support/speak-to-our-team ), particularly if you feel you can't talk to anyone else as they won't believe you.

We are here for you <3

Thank you @Maisy it’s just hard cos I know I’m feeling emotions and stuff but I just dunno what emotion I’m ever feeling cos it’s just like I’m always feeling a lot of emotions at once so can never pin point what I’m feeling
    Sorry for bothering you

Hi @Jayn21 I can understand how frustrating it is to feel like you have to keep your emotions to yourself in fears of being misunderstood- that's definitely not fair on yourself having to carry that baggage alone.

As for not being able to pinpoint what emotion you are feeling it sounds like you are experiencing an overwhelming flurry of emotions that are all battling for attention. That sounds incredibly hard and exhausting. I can also imagine it is scary when you are bombarded with feeling everything at once. Is there ever a time where your emotions do settle?

If you feel comfortable sharing more we are here to listen. <3

@Orchid059 no it just gets to point where they become too much so I just disconnect from my emotions again

I can understand how draining that must be for you and how frustrating it is to feel emotions this way. As @Maisy mentioned before it might be worthwhile getting in touch with a counselling service who will be able to unpack your emotions with you and support you through this- is that something you feel comfortable doing? I can understand you may be put off because you are worried they might not believe you, but it is their job to listen without judgement.

Of course we will be here for you every step of the way aswell. <3

I tried counselling before and it helped in beginning then I sorta randomly started feeling like it was unsafe so stopped and didn’t try again

Safety is the most important @Jayn21. Would you feel comfortable sharing more about what, in particular, made you feel the counselling was unsafe? Do you have any support in place at the moment? You deserve to have the support you need whilst also feeling safe - even if that support looks differently than you think should be expected <3

Hi @Jayn21 counsellors are trained to listen to you and they follow all the correct safety procedures and ethical guidelines to ensure their safety as well, so I can assure you that you would not have been putting them at risk. If they were concerned, they would flag it with the correct services in order to help you.

It is such a scary step to take but you are doing so well- we are here for you <3

To be honest the feeling of feeling stuck isn’t actually that bad until it comes with flashbacks then feeling stuck again cos feeling like can’t tell anyone even though it was over 5 years ago
