I sent emails to a professional person who was nice but I got bullied by professional ppl b4 in last town. Is tht a trauma response?

It can be difficult talking to others if we don't really understand what they are saying. Perhaps you could let the person know that you don't understand the terms they say, and ask them to explain the terms?

When we have a bad experience with a person, we may be more anxious or negative about interacting with a similar person (because we've been hurt before by similar people). Even though the similar person is different (a different professional), we might treat them as if they have hurt us when they haven't, because of our past hurts with a similar person. This could be a trauma response as we are coming from a place of hurt.

It's good to know that the professional person was nice. Hopefully they will be able to help you :)
