I just wanted to say that I am so proud of you for getting through your first day of work it’s not easy and it’s such a big adjustment for anybody and just wanted to say sending you so much hugs and a big well done. I hope you get some time at the weekend to just relax and do something nice. <3

Hey @BensonE that sounds like a great day to have especially as it sounds like you may be doing remote and office work too. I also do something similar but in the creative industry where it is both remote and on site hybrid working style. How are you finding your work place at the moment?. I hope everything is going well. It sounds like you are doing something you do enjoy as well which is quite important when it comes to working as well. It definitely sounds like a busy job but very interesting. I do hear though that your work load was quite low and I am thinking that maybe they could be slowly introducing to the workload (similar to what they did with me basically in my job role). I hope you are enjoying your new job and I am super proud of you for going to your first day <3.

Low work load is common for new guys plus I don't think they've had a full time detached person in a while

@BensonE I get you I can imagine that being quite common given it was your first day on the job as well. However, maybe the work load may be getting better as you go along?.

You should see my calendar for this week, got alot of sessions and a few meetings

My paperwork load is low but that's expected due to it being todo with session planning etc. Mostly

Hey @BensonE, well done on starting your new role in a positive way! I can hear that things like flexible hours can be tricky to navigate - is there a colleague/manager that you could speak to, to get their advice? Hope that the rest of your first week goes well - would love to hear how you get on :)

My managers only advice to me was watch your hours it's very easy to over work

Luckily though we are able to work from home which helps with flexi hours and we all often work from home from looks of things

True story. Also easy not to notice, then to suddenly feel exhausted and not know why.

Even those moments where you're like "I'll just throw an extra 30 mins in here to get this done" can add up over time and bite you later if you're not working sustainably.
All behaviour is a need trying to be met.

Ooooh, that makes sense (and is a bit of a different thing lol)
