Some of you may know the poem Twas The Night Before Christmas written by Clement Clarke Moore. Well, here is a The Mix version. Me and @River came up with our own version and the results ended up being hilarious. Enjoy. Twas The Night Before Mixmas- By Dancer and River
`Twas the night before Christmas and all through the land
Not a creature was stirring, only The Mix community
Getting ready for Mixmas
Everyone was getting ready for festive and cheer

Gemma and Elle drinking their wine
Whilst Leyla and River watch Stitch
It's a festive time of year, with The Mix
Everyone annoys the mods as soon as it gets to Christmas tier

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny moddeer,

With a little old driver, so lovely and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Liz.
More rapid than eagles the coursers they came,
And she whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

Now, Laura! Now, Sand! Now, Nina and Soph!
On, Clearisse! On Natalie! On, Amber and Nicole!
To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!

Emma and V doing ballet whilst others laugh with joy
What a wonderful time of year with the mix is so fun
Chloe and Aife talking about dogs
Giving us so many festive picks to rely on

Dancer and Carmen laughing about cats
Smiling through the hard times it feels like a catch
Xee talking about the boys she`s met all year
Whilst Iain plays back his achievements across the whole year

It's all fun and festive at The Mix each year
A non-biological family yet full of love
We've been through the highs and lows together
But this time it's for Mixmas and cheer

    I love your poem! Really made me smile when I saw it yesterday <3
    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
