Hi🫶🏼
I’d like to introduce myself as a (soon to be) third year psychology student who is passionate about helping and supporting others through their internal struggles.
I grew up around the reality of mental health and know first-hand what a lack of support can mean.
My hope is to help people and make a genuine difference in somebody’s life , even if that means just allowing someone to speak their truth and feel listened to.
I can’t wait to get involved within this community!

It’s so cool you’re planning to do Psychology, I can’t recommend it enough. It is truly one of the most interesting subjects in the world (to me anyway 😁).
All degrees will be a challenge but I honestly haven’t struggled with the content or workload much whatsoever, but everyone is different and I can only speak for my course and my university.
Learning HOW to answer questions is often harder than the content itself. Also, keep in mind a lot of topics may not seem as obviously ‘psychological’ and may not be what you’re particular interested in; delving into topics you are interested in is where the real fun is.
Also, @lunarcat522 , I personally found second year a lot easier than the first. Maybe it’s just down to experience, but I’d say if you’re in the position to go straight to second year, then you will do very well!
Please ask if you have anymore questions , I wish you both so much luck in your psychology journey ❤️
How are you finding it?❤️ are you excited for the start of term?
Hope everybody is feeling good and having a good day @kaii @JJLemon18 @Gemma @Amy22
