What did they help you put into perspective @Past User? That sounds positive. :)

Im glad that you reached out for help @Past User and it sounds good that the help you recieved was helpful too. Also, you don't have to apologise about feeling suicidal or having these thoughts as you have been through a lot at the moment.

Hey @Past User, it's brave to come on here and share these feelings, so thank you for being honest. Staving off self-harm is a bumpy road, so don't be too hard on yourself when a relapse happens. How are you feeling at the moment? Is there anything you could do to help distract yourself in the mean time? The Mix has an article that might help with this: https://stg.themix.org.uk/mental-health/self-harm/self-harm-coping-tips-and-distractions-5696.html

If you're worried about self-harming, I'd encourage you to call 111 or visit A&E to make sure you're safe and tend to your injuries. If it's helpful, you could contact either of the below organisations for more support:

Crisis Messenger: provides free, 24/7 crisis support. If you’re aged 25 or under, you can text THEMIX to 85258.

Papyrus - If you are having thoughts of suicide, you can contact HOPELINEUK for confidential support and practical advice. You can call them on 0800 068 4141 or text them on 07786209697.
