Hi my name is Nicholas Karitci but I prefer to be called Nic. I am 17 years old but will be turning 18 next month. I have Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, OCD and Anxiety. I also have some other medical conditions. I like to write medical reports because I want to be a doctor or another healthcare professional working in the field of mental health and I would want to work in CAMHS. This is because of my own experiences with mental health and I've had support from CAMHS. I enjoy going to my charity called Generate and they support people with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and other medical conditions. I also enjoy going to respite care once a month.
I would love to get to know about you.
Kind regards,

Thank you for your lovely comments and warm welcome. I am trying to respond to all of your post individually but this is something that I do not know how to work out yet. Is there a way of being able to do this?
Kind regards,
Nic
Thank you for letting me know.
This helps.

My day has been going really well I went on a fun trip with my charity and we had to use our 5 senses and then we went to crazy golf.
How was your day?
Nic
Thank you for your message and warm welcome. I understand what you are going through and sometimes it cannot be easy going through something and not having a diagnosis. Is this something that you would want to think about doing so then you don't have to worry?
You are absolutely right it is rewarding about being able to support others in need and I am always enjoying doing this.
Take care,
Nic
Hi Xee,
Thank you for your further message. It is great news that you like crazy golf too. I am sorry that your day was a bit difficult but that is understandable about your therapy session being exhausting. That is a good idea about trying to go to bed early.
Take it easy.
Nic
Hi Xee,
Thank you for sharing about your anxiety and ADHD amongst other things. It is great knowing that there are people out there like me who will be able to understand me and my needs. I know the rest of the community will offer their support too. I am glad your therapy has helped you.
It is good that you want to make a difference to other people's lives. I never knew that there were different paths into psychology and I wonder what they are. At the moment I am in college still and I am an Entry Level 2 for Math's and next year I will be doing GCSE for English.

Getting some sort of diagnosis is something I'm thinking about but I don't think I have the courage to go to my doctor yet. Also I'm worried that knowing about any illnesses I may have could make me feel worse about myself.
See you around!
Hi Jakub,
Thank you for your message. I understand the feeling that you are going through about these things making you feel worse about yourself. I am sorry to hear that you feel like you do not have the courage but you should always believe in yourself and always have the faith. Surely family or friends could be able to support you?
All the best!
Nic
