    Hi @Past User I can understand that you are feeling worried about it being embarrassing however i think it is really sweet that you have got him something and if you feel like it then go for it especially if you have known the guy for a while. He will more than likely be really pleased.

    Maybe you could give it to him as a best friend, and see his reaction? Valentines day is hard for people, it can be difficult when you have feelings for someone who you don't know if it's reciprocated, it's difficult for those who are going through a break up or a bereavement or have generally lost their partner. Maybe it would be a nice gesture to give it to him and it doesn't necessarily have to be from a romantic perspective, just showing appreciation for him :) how do you feel about this?

    What part of it makes you feel suicidal? You don't have to share if you don't feel comfortable to.
