When does it become weird to wish someone a happy new year?

    Hmm I'd say maybe after the first week of January, but I guess if it's the first time you've seen someone since the new year maybe it's alright after that. Ooh im not sure now, I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks :lol:

    hmm I'd say after the first time you see them - only need to say it once. Unless it's after mid Feb, then that feels a lil weird to me aha

    @Mike To me I'd say anytime in January is fine, and maybe early february if I haven't seen someone since the year before (but like more subtly drop it in to a conversation)

    I think if you haven’t seen someone in January but see them the first half of February then it’s ok but after that might be a little late
