Whamageddon 2021

Has anyone heard of this? Basically, it's a competition to see how long you can last throughout December without hearing the original version of Last Christmas by Wham. In 2019 and 2020 we did this and there were a few winners. I wonder how many people will be able to get all the way through the challenge this year.

Here are the rules.

1. The objective is to go as long as possible without hearing Wham's Christmas Classic "Last Christmas"
2. The game starts on 1st December and ends at midnight on December 24th.
3. Only the original version applies. Enjoy the #!€#%!€%€& out of remixes and covers!
4. You are out as soon as you recognise the original version being played.

No prizes for winning though. But you do get the glory of knowing that you avoided being Whammed.

    @Dancer We play this within our household as well, putting the Christmas Decs up this evening was a difficult one, but managed to get through it without being caught out!

    This is such a fun festive game to play!

    I got knocked out today, was playing it safe on Radio X, they then had a cover of it which sparked a discussion about the rules, but then the DJ decided to play a bit to knock everyone out. Was fuming!

    I got knocked out yesterday, somehow I managed to get through the Christmas Decs but got caught out when cleaning the kitchen, hahah just my luck really!

    I seem to still be going pretty strong and I always listen to the radio especially when driving home from uni to home
