Hey everyone!

I know some of you might think it’s a bit early for Christmas talk :lol: but I wanted to revive this thread idea for 2021.

Christmas is a happy time for many, but for some it’s not so easy. The last couple of years have been particularly difficult with the Covid pandemic.

I feel it’s important we have a space for anyone who needs hugs over Christmas <3

No problem is too big or too small so feel free to post however you’re feeling, keeping the guidelines for the main hugs thread in mind <3

Feel free to use this for anything relating to new year as well

    Xmas hugs to anyone who is spending their Xmas without a loved one this year. I lost two grandparents over the past few years and find it can be a quite a hard time without them, missing them both so much. 💜

    @independent_ sending big hugs your way! i can relate to you, im usually very festive but this year with all the uncertainty im just not feeling it!! I live in England and they've reintroduced more covid restrictions here due to the omicron variant - lets just try and keep our heads up and make the most of what we have <3 anything has to be better than another lockdown xmas ? <3:3

    Christmas is really difficult time of the year for me and I try to avoid it as much as I can but I know I have to leave for mums soon depending on PCR results. Kinda hoping it's positive so I can avoid Christmas completely this year. I always fear loss. So many people I love have died around this time and its hard. Christmas isn't enjoyable anymore. It's full of fear, anxiety, triggers..
