Do you have a particular fashion style?

If so, what is it? why do you like it? have you always worn similar clothes? I'd love to hear about everyone's relationship with clothes =) It can be anything at all. I know clothes can be a tough subject, especially when it comes to body types, so please take care when posting and reading!! xxx

I'm interested because I don't think I have a particular style so I'd love to know what people like about their own? x

I guess so, I'm kind of known for wearing the same white t shirt which I have 2 of whenever I go out, I've never cared at all about clothes, but last year I bought some shirts. My fashion is mostly just due to me not caring too much. I'd maybe like to have cool clothes but I feel like I look too silly to pull anything off

I defo see what you're saying, and I reckon I'm rather the same. Sometimes relying on what we feel comfortable in is a lot nicer than trying 'cool clothes' because comfort and happiness is more important than how others perceive you. What do you usually pair the white tops with? =)

I've always like dark grungy style. I also really like the alt/ e-girl style. I had a pair of black cargo trousers that I loved and wore so much that they ripped down the middle and can't find another pair :(

The only way that I can describe my style is like the stuff they put in Oliver Bonas
I love patterns and I love the contrast and mix matching patterns with a little gold here and there. I wish I had more of a consistent style but I guess I'm still trying to figgure it out lol because sometimes I pass as a teen.

@Salix_alba_2019 I am with you there!
Oliver Bonas is so freaking cute, I wish I can buy the entire stock!

My style fluctuates a lot and as a result, my wardrobe is the embodiment of the Sims randomization's function (If you play Sims then ahem). I struggle a lot with my identity and body image so I used to mimic other people's style in hopes that it might help but, nah.

So lately, I've been experimenting with different styles and I found some that really stuck to me so I'm reorganizing my closet; getting rid of things that don't fit me or I grew out of to replace it with something more like these:

Embracing the patterns, the bold, contrasting colours, mix-matching from time to time, with comfort, of course.

Sometimes, I see myself leaning to alt girl styles but nah. :joy:

I’m just a sheep. I wear whatever is “fashionable”
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

Thank you for everyone responding it's so wonderful to hear people's thoughts on what they might feel comfortable in, what they feel cute in, what makes them happy etc... I think fashion can become tough sometimes because we can be super aware of others' watching us which is frustrating and can impact our choices! It's nice to see how self-aware everyone is too =)

I especially love the pics you've uploaded @lovemimoon, they are extremely cute and cool! I'd think it would be so cool if you tried that style/vibe :)
