I clicked a link from tiktok to adult videos then clicked some because I was intrested then it said Click only if your over 18 and im 12 but i clicked it then on another tab it said police have found child pornography on my laptop and i have to pay a fine and click on the link but i was scared and closed it all but i ddint wach child pornography i wont do it again is the police coming and will i go to jail?

    It sounds like someone is trying to scam you - don't click that link and pay the fine, it's a common way that people scare people into giving their details away. The police aren't coming, don't worry x

    I was thinking that sounded like a scam too. The police don’t just scan your laptop like that. Don’t touch that link.

    Even if it was real (which I highly doubt) the police will know that kids come across this stuff all the time because like you, they’re curious. It’s not as if you’re an adult knowingly downloading child pornography. It’s ok to be curious about this stuff and the police would recognise that if they were ever faced with this situation.
