I really need the support :’(

So last night I had a full blown anxiety attack, my mum was up with me until 3 in the morning to try and calm me down. Whenever I do throw up it’s difficult to get back on track with my eating because I still feel sick but then feeling hungry can make me feel sick but also anxious. It’s a big cycle, I’m just really struggling with eating again and it would be nice to have some support :(

    Hi @mol

Really sorry to hear you are going through this. Are you getting support for your difficulties eating? Do you have panic attacks often and are they triggered by your eating? Hope we can help, sending hugs <3

You are being so brave by reaching out on the boards today <3  Please know you’re not alone in finding it difficult to get back on track with eating and break the cycle. Even if you slip a little in your recovery, this is not a sign of failure.

    Hi @mol

We're here all here to support you, I'm sorry to hear you had such a tough night. It's good that you're mum was up with you to support you as well though.

It's normal to find it really hard to get back into a routine but as PoppyB says, it definitely doesn't mean you've failed in any way and you're not alone in feeling this way. Its amazing that you've reached out for support when you feel you need it.

How are feeling now since the other night?

@Gemma I’m managing to eat little things through the day but it’s still difficult. Keep going to bed hungry :( I want to eat but it makes me feel sick at the moment, I’ll get there eventually. Thank you :)
