Group chat pledge: Keep private conversations out of group chat
Mentioning in group chat that you're also talking to someone outside of chat (E.g Facebook) can make others feel unsafe.
It can cause them to worry that something they share might go outside of the room.
If you want to talk to someone away from group chat then do so but please keep private conversations separate and don't mention them in the session.

Oo! Cool smilie, this counts too
" So I say thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing, thanks for all the joy they're bringing, who can live without it, I ask in all honestly what would life be? Without a song or a dance, what are we? So I say thank you for the music, for giving it to me "
'' It's a beautiful day and I can't stop myself from smiling "
Thought I'd throw in a pancake flip for good measures
Then those who break it, are being rather rebellious!
Good question. What is harmless gossip for one person can have more serious consequences for another.
As mentioned, we take confidentiality really seriously so if we notice that someone is disregarding the pledge having signed it then we'll take action which will likely include being in contact with that person via PM and removing any relevant posts. It may result in an enforced break from the boards and/or chat.
If private conversations are mentioned or brought into chat people will be reminded of the pledge and asked to move on. If that doesn't happen then they risk being banned from the rest of that chat.
The pledge may sound simple but it's key to everyone feeling at ease so we hope that you'll all take your time to think about it before you sign
Do we just sign up through putting a :thumb: on here?
