It is indeed just me. But I would perhaps rephrase what I said to concern "gentlemanly", which invokes morals, principles and some degree of self control and discipline. You do what you know to be right, not what the imbalance of chemicals suggests. You do what fits with how you would like others to treat you, and how you would like to be seen; rather than acting on an impulsive desire to go "get some". But then, I'm odd and old-fashioned.
