    I'd come, I'd definitely come, if I hadn't already said I'd be in Cambridge that Saturday night. Although trying to work out the logistics to do both has crossed my mind - but would involved driving to London.....

    Slightly more into context.

    I live one side of London, Cambridge is the other. Would usually whizz round M25, A1M, A505, A10 over to Cambridge. So technically London is kind of on the way, but in an really silly route to drive kind of way.

    Definitely thinking about it though.

    By the time I drive to Cambridge, then find somewhere sensible to leave the car, get to the station, into London, tube to wherever, then back out to Camb in time to get ready for dinner, I'd have about 30 mins there.

    Will keep thinking though.

    Have been lazy, have you said where yet?

    Its pretty swift once you get onto the M11.

    Or get the train into london and then onto cambridge from Kings X - its just a couple of tube stops and means you avoid the annoyingness of driving round cambridge

    Driving round Cambridge is one I know and 'love'. It's the across central London bit that could be fun.

    Since when did the M11 ever count as fast?

    It's a driving one as going somewhere on the way back from Cambridge.

    http://www.rechargeablebatteries.co.uk/ - Or, failing that... Go to a supermarket. Just because it says "recommended for use only with [Brand A] batteries" doesn't make it so. A friend of the missus' used to work at A.S. and says that they're a complete con.

    No, I mean, literally the only place you can buy them is Ann Summers, even though they're Duracell, which is daft. They're not your typical sized batteries.
