Does anybody else find it harder to get to the gym in winter?

give yourself rewards, five trip to gym = trip to cinema (kids club is £1 if you're har-up).

I say to myself, the lack of sunlight is making me feel miserable, got to get those chemical levels up and exercise is the best way to do it.

But my gym is really close, like 6 minutes walk.

I've got the same dilemma. As I finally have disposable income again, I may try Katralla's trick.

Yeah it definitely is harder to get going in winter.

I work shifts so I have tried to use my days off to go out during the hours of sunlight instead and do something different. Walks and mountain biking are usually my winter activities of choice.

If your gym has a spa or pool, you could work out and then hang out in the jacuzzi or somewhere nice and hot after to make up for having to go out in the cold! Or maybe get a massage after.

If you are out at work or somplace regularly, you could go right after that, since you are already out, it helps take away that difficult part.
