I agree, it's so much quicker than using Photoshop for everything.

Btw, I understand the Windows 7 still has the 'gadget' bar but it's turned off by default. If you guys are using them, which ones are you using? I'm in 2 minds about them at the moment because they're all pretty much on iGoogle as well and I can simply have that open on a Firefox tab.

    In Original 1920*1080 resolution.

/e: The rocket bar at the top only comes out if you hover over the area with your cursor. I did so, when taking the screenshot in case you wonder where all my shortcuts are.

Absolutely! Actually, I would have preferred 1920x1200 but I couldn't afford the £480 for the Dell Ultrasharp U2410. I just went for the bog standard Dell G2410 for £205 as I'm still a dole scrounger. I had to replace it though because my old 20 incher recently died. But yeah you win due to the screen real estate, plus it would have fitted my 1-eyed vision better.

It's only 17-inch though, so you have to squint a bit. My work monitor is a lower res, but 24-inch, and it's very easy on the eyes.

Wow. I know that some 17" CRTs could go up to 1600x1200, so your 1920x1200 would be very 'fine'. Hell, I have to set my text DPI to 175% and that's on a 24" so God knows what I'd have to set it to on yours!

At least you're blu-ray ready though. Just for the record - I thought you had to use an HDMI connection to make blu-ray videos work, but no, it played fine when using my 5 year old DVI cable.

She's not. Mine does that too because my wow icon opens the news window.

the one icon is the shortcut on my taskbar lol i prefer that to a desktop shortcut xD

Yeah but in Windows 7, the shortcut doubles up with the 'instance'. Meh. Gemz, I reckon you copied WoW from another computer/drive. Then it does what it does on your screenshot. If WoW was installed to your PC in question though, then it would just be the 1 icon regardless to it being open or closed.

the icon is the shortcut for the launcher that then opens and i click play which opens up the game itself as a seperate icon :p

and yes this is all on the same laptop lol

Ditto, and mine is on a 17" laptop. Best screens around IMO - everything has settled for the lower-resolution 16:9 "HDTV" screens. They've hurt screen progress hugely. :(

Nice manga backdrop you have there. One tip for ya hun - lose McAfee and install a freebie like Avast!, AVG or Avira :-) McAfee and Norton are both notorious for being system hogs, and I've been there with both, cleaning out 100s of customer PCs.
