cheese on toast with worcester sauce is lush, baked beans are gross. Interesting fact, I've lived behind the worcester sauce factory, twice, you can't hang your wshing outside, unless you want it to smell of worcester sauce.

I've never done the Worcester sauce bit, but yes cheese is mandatory when you have beans on toast. I normally have 2 slices of toast, beans on top of both of them, then grated cheese on one and a fried egg on the other.

I used to have it so the beans were in the middle and the toast was in little squares around the outside.

That's how I've always known it too. Likewise with scrambled eggs. The eggs are served on the bread. I've never known beans not to be served on toast. Yes, it makes the bread soggy but it melts the butter too and that's nice.

Beans AND toast, would just be like having a portion of beans that you get at kfc which could go with anything.

Loving these new snap pot heinz beans things, perfect amount for beans on toast.

No, because the beans do not reach the perimeter of the bread, so the crusts would still be crunchy. Also it appears that double gloucester has been used, when clearly the appropriate cheese to go with beans is a good mature cheddar.

    Otherwise impressive

Maybe its going for a camoflague cheese effect, to blend in with the beans?

If you want the toast to be soggy, why don't you just have BREAD?
