    We had an awesome trip to Alaska last year ... hoping to see bears on the 'chum run', but we were a couple of weeks too early. The bears were around. One or two of our group got photos of them but, for the most part, they were just hiding in the woods, waiting for the salmon to arrive. You have never seen a group of bikers being so quiet or taking such an intense interest in a riverbank! :lol:

    P.S. If there is evidence of bears being in the vicinity, general advice is to make plenty of noise so that you don't surprise them.
