    I did it. And it wasn't so bad. Especially if you look at the alternative, which is no sex. I made good use of preservatives and counseling, however.

    Depends how heavy it is.

    I occasionally do it near the end of my period and it's just like normal except the, er, discharge is a bit red/brown.

    well i was condomized anyway. And you only see it when you pull out and are done anyway. Then you had already sex and can go in a corner and cry.

    in all seriousness, it's not bad. The chunks are a little something you have to get used to, but they are worse things.

    Unfortunately I am a little squicked out by having THAT much blood so I don't do it when I've just started.

    I'm the same way. I get unbelievably horny while I'm on my period, but usually prefer to wait until it's lighter rather than right at the beginning.

    Orgasms help immensely with menstrual cramps, too.:D

    I've never had sex while I've been on but if the guy wanted to then I wouldnt say no. Just make sure you put a towel down and 'condomise' and if it really bothers you then do it in the shower.

    I don't think I'd be any less inclined to have sex during a period, nor would I see it as more of a reason to wear a condom - but I've never been in the situation, so it's a very hypothetical opinion.
