    I came here for advice first. I don't feel like I post much, and it isn't considering the amount of posts I have on other forums in less time. Already a year, lord. I like to visit the Politics and debate forum. I guess I like seeing more about topics that matter than the usual you see. Since I don't watch the news either, or visit the news sites much anymore it fills me in.

    I've been using this since I was about 14 (I'm 22) but have had different usernames as I kept forgetting my password and hardly posted. I found it through google when looking for something, can't remember what though :chin:

    A friend introduced me in 2001, I use to post on here all the time back then and got extremely addicted through boredom, and it was nice to come here for advice and chat to random people that ordinarily I probably wouldn't mix with.

    I met someone on here and we started going out (we're married now!) and became really OTT and I got myself banned cos I got to the point where I would have withdrawals of not coming on here and was always wondering what was happening on thesite :yeees:

    I came back recently out of curiosity, and although I spend a fair amount of time here I can easily stay away, I just enjoy logging on when I'm on the computer, again through boredom really but it's also still very good for advice!

    I started on here because I had just been diagnosed with depression and the sites information and advice was so helpful.
    I used to log on here a lot when i was feeling bad, and it always helped.
    now am much better, still enjoy logging on and seeing who is about-but am much busier these days as am no longer scared of my own shadow and can go out other than just to work. the site rules!

    Yeah, they did, but i think the distance thing was a bit much - she lived in Ireland and he didn't. Last time I heard anyway (which admittedly was some time ago!)

    I can't remember why I joined, but I keep coming back because I get bored when I have too much time on my hands. It goes in stages, I won't post for months and then i'll just think 'ooh, i wonder what's going on...' and then lurk about for a few months.
