Sooo... why does everyone come to this website?

Well I haven't looked here for a pretty long time, but it kind of made me think of the reasons people frequent here so much. I really do think its a good resource but is it escapism or just a way to vent?

I dont notice too many old names from when I last looked here so maybe its just a way to sort people out when they need help at the present time which is an awesome thing! Anyway post away as its rather an interesting subject to me at least!

    ok so i remember you mon amis :) but its alway interesting why people come back here now and then. I feel like im using this place for my own interests right now!! but still there were a lot of interesting people here when I used to frequent.. its quite sad that they are gone!!!! im so confused how i got so many posts here!!!

    It would be cool to see how many of the olllld lot are still about out of genuine interest (I know im not reallllly old school but still :DDDD)

    I wouldn't say it's habit. It's mostly wanting to see if there's anything interesting and/or that I can say something about.

    I actually found a muffin recipe in ounces not fucking cups for stupid people that can't use scales :p .

    It's runny, like carrot cake, because you use oil instead of butter and i think that's what makes them more dome shaped. I shall let you know how they go.

    An IRL friend was already using Thesite.org, so I signed up thru him in late 2002. He met his long-time girlfriend off here and they're still together. I still use Thesite but the other two don't.

    I'm here fore boredom. The computers are easily accessable and I can't sit and do one thing for too long so I usually just come and browse for a minute and then do something else.
