His daughter even shared with me the words, "why would any of my family be interested in your sad little life". Well as far as I know they are and its mighty fucking sad!
.
Please don't take it the wrong way.
Why haven't you called the fraud department in the first place when you found your bank details were under threat?
The question in question cannot be answered by me, as it refers to why he would do it and obviously I don't know
I haven't reported it to fraud because I don't feel I want any law enforcement involved, but hey if he won't stop, it'll eventually be out of my hands and into anothers.
Also there is another 2 people that know about him and are fired up enough to avenge, but I hope they don't do it behind my back
Change ALL of your passwords to something containing uppercase, lowercase, numbers and if possible other characters (hyphens, exclaimations etc)
Restore your system using your system restore CD.
Change all windows passwords and login names.
I believe doing all of this will take no more than 4 hours max.
So unless he then knows your passwords, this matter should be resolved, as you don't live with him, you are not on the same network, and I'm 100% sure you won't be letting him use your PC.
This is all elementary, done it all 5 times over.
How could anyone enjoy people hoking through personal belongings, I hate it and would hate to have to report him, its well worth a hefty prison sentence for fraud. (yes you are probably reading along here too, see my patience, but they do wear thin)
It's a little difficult to hack them if he doesn't know what the accounts are in the first place.
Though tbh, if someone is interferring in your internet banking you are bound to report it.
Have to say other than brute forcing there are no backdoors into most mail clients now and so *if* he is getting in he must either be guessing / stealing your passwords or your secret question. What is he actually doing when he 'gets in'? Sending out emails or...
The only reason I'm skeptical is I'm fairly confident with PCs and I know some so called 'uber hackers' as you might call them and these things are pretty hard to crack. How has he hacked your online banking account? You should have immediately reported that to the bank tbh.
If your PC is clean of viruses/trojans/spyware etc and unless he has written his own keylogging software which he would need to get onto your PC somehow, how on earth did he get all your logon details for all your different accounts?
He may well be a 'genius' at IT but he needs something to go on - he can't just magically 'hack' into your MSN etc. Do you use predictable passwords? Have you ever told anyone what passwords you use? Have you left them written down somewhere?
There is something not quite right about this ....
Yeah, it kinda stinks like bullshit to me :thumb:
His own homemade keylogger sounds about right. How do I stop him though, belive me I tried, he knows everything I do.
Why?? Who are you to say it isn't true?
Oh and experience of hacking ..... I've been a developer in a professional environment for over 10 years, specialising in security .... I know a fair bit
Well I have formatted a couple of times, changed my passwords numerous times. Looks like I need to start using Linux for a server to my Xp and change my passwords so much so that I'll even find them hard to remember.
format, then change all your passwords and in account settings check the email you have set for your accounts on things (the only thing i can think of that maybe hes changed the email and is getting passsword resets sent or someting but that still wouldnt make much sense) .. and get a decent firewall
no harm tho mate, sounds like bullshit to me too :chin:
Hopefully after I have changed all this and stop using those accounts i will get rid of all this hassle. If then, I still haven't, my friends, we have the best hacker on the planet and should trap him in a box then sell him on ebay
BTw: If it has been so simple as him retrieving the password for my hotmail every time I changed it, I'll kick myself.
built a small device inside your computer with a RF antenna, it's powered off your computer's PSU. He has inserted extremely technical apparatus to your computer, including some kind of device that transmits all the data going to your RAM. He has replaced your keyboard with one that has hardware in that again has a seperate wire that goes to his mini computer inside your computer.
He can thus read all your keystrokes, and read all your memory.
Also be aware of spy cameras, especially if you have smoke detectors. The best solution would be, to take your current PC outside, cover it in petrol, set fire to it, then when you get a new one, whenever you go on it cover yourself and the monitor with a duvet.

Btw, a 'hacker' is someone who merely plays around with code. So changing the way windows boots up without using the normal methods is 'hacking'. As is stripping off DRM stuff from software. It's basically opening it up, and reverse engineering it, to a degree.
Guessing passwords and stuff is cracking, like you would crack a safe.
What exactly is this man doing once he is into your accounts etc? What is making you think he is doing things?
Which of your accounts have been hacked? How have you come to the conclusion that there is any hacking going on at all?
