Weirdest Food

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
What's the weirdest food, or weirdest combination of foods, you like to eat?

For me, it's a close tie between potatos in natural yogurt and pasta with tomato sauce and lime pickle. :yum:

I like blood oranges with seafood. They're nice and bitter so they go well with things like monkfish and scallops.

People think I'm wierd 'cos I'll have anything in a buttie - last night I had waffles on bread mmmmm or chicken or bacon supernoodles orrrrr mash and gravy orr get roast chicken cut it into little pieces like you would give a toddler and put it in with mash, chop roast potatoes in lil piecs and pop in with mash and then mush it all together, big loada gravy and stick it on white bread with TONS of butter.

Gawd, I'm so unhealthy. Suppose that's my wierd way of eating things though, rather than the wierd foods themselves.

I eat quite a lot of weird things, though not on a regular basis (generally when I need to go shopping)...

Marmite on fruit scones with sliced banana on top.
Cheddar cheese and strawberry jam sandwiches (loved these since I was a wee'un).
English muffin toasted and topped with marmite, five counties and banana :yum:
Fried onion sandwiches on seeded bread with loads of butter.
    Scrambled egg with maple syrup.
    Butter and sugar sandwiches.
Nachos with honey and tabasco sauce.
Frosted wheaty-type cereal with pineapple juice instead of milk (discovered while pregnant - still love it).

I still get the white bread craving though... you know the stuff that's about an inch thick and never goes off. Don't cave in though well not often anyway

i love chicken coated with bread crumbs, fried in hot oil, rice, tomato soup, chocolate pudding and about a glass of coke, put it all in a blender and mix it into one liquid goodness. It's especially good when you are short on time. One big gulp and you had starter, main course, dessert and something to drink in under 10 seconds.

you can add minty toothpaste, to have a neutral smell and a fresh feeling afterwards in your mouth.

    The possibilities are endless.
