Yeah there's not much call for it amongst non-oriental people really, and it takes a while to prep them to actually be edible.

I much prefer sui mai, cheung fun, meat/yam croquettes and suchlike.

Do they have anything similar in South East Asia?
I'm going to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam in January and I can't wait to eat the food.

Similar to dim sum or chicken feet in particular?

I know they serve chicken feet in thailand, and there'd be plenty of chinese food places in thailand, dunno about the other countries to be honest. Also cheap!

Friend who has just got back from travellign around there had an amazing time, and also enjoyed the food. So jealous of her and you :p

I always thought I was a fussy eater until I met my ex. I'm really not. Think it's because my family eat absolutely anything.

There are a few things I don't like (particularly mushrooms :sour: ) and I'm fussy with meat (I pick the fat and veins and stuff out) but generally these days I eat most things. :thumb:

i used to think i was a picky eater, but one of the people i used to be friends with truely put me to shame, she literally has the diet of a five year old

She eats nothing but cheese and tomato pizza, mini sausage rolls, fish fingers spagetti hoops, noodles and curly fries

Nope that pretty much looks like the average diet of a lot of children, well, before Jamie Oliver went out on his school dinners crusade.

the only thing I don't eat as much are the pickles in the mcdonalds burgers. Even so, I'm trying to eat them nevertheless.

    The pleasure's in variety. people.

I'm not a picky eater however I am vegetarian and suffer from coeliacs disease so I need to be gluten free as well. Its not like I'm choosing to eliminate gluten/wheat from my diet - I'd much rather be tucking into toast!

Aldi do sme nice wheat and gluten free bread.
