I know I'm getting old now that I had to google the term 'boke' :crying:

Depends on what you like, really. I tend to put some veg in (mushrooms, pepper, chopped up runner beans) and a little bit of grated chedder. Some crispy bacon is nice too.

Mm omelettes. I like them the french way and I can't stand it when they're overcooked.

Anyway what to put in them.. anything! Mushrooms, ham, fresh herbs, spinach, peppers, different cheeses..

    :yum: omletts. Spinich and feta

    Or ham and chedder
    Or onions, peppers and chedder

I don't like too many ingrediants, keep it simple.

But you can't have an omlet without cheese. That would be wrong :(

And a side of hash browns with cheese.

I'm no cook b ut i would cook the bacon first, then remove from pan. start to cook omelette then once base has set, put bacon on top.

Easy. Fry off all the ingredients your going to use in a frying pan, then add some beaten eggs into the frying pan. Bung under the grill for a couple of minutes until the egg cook and the cheese turns golden.

Omlettes are so easy to cook. :thumb:

I've just made a cheese & onion one because we've run out of ham... but yeah I'm very impressed! Tastes lush wish ketchup too!

Gonna have to start trying out some of the suggestions in this thread...

I prefer to make my omlette kinda like the french do coz I don't like my eggs overcooked so I put a lid on the frying pan and wait until its almost set and then turn it over in half, leave for 30secs more and serve. So it's still a bit gooey and not hard.

A nob of butter in the frying pan before adding the egg helps. Also adds to the taste.
