Ok .. i got really bored today and looked through some old school reports.
i was told i was a 'quiet and reliable girl' in my earlier years..and was 'insecure'...later i was told I was 'brash and overdramatic' and then later still 'intelligent and hardworking'.
Do you ever wonder if these teachers even know who you are??????
It seemed thate very year our teachers would write teh same things about ever one just with our names changed.......
And that maths teacher who said i was brilliant - god what was he on?????
Any memorable comments youve had made about you?

It made me laugh cos at the time I was going dancing 3 times a week, swimming once a week, playing badminton and running around at guides
Sounds like you'd be all tired out by the time you go to class??
My Aunt's worse subjects were always Maths ... funny though - she became an accoutant!!
'handwriting leaves something to be desired' (interestingly it's quite neat now)
and
'needs to make more of a contribution to class discussions'
the most memorable, in my GCSE year geography report:
'katherine needs to realise that if she continues to approach this subject with minimal effort, she will fail her GSCE'.
how wrong was she? (very)
French:
"First class! Clare is an exceptionally gifted student who always gives of her best. It has been a pleasure to teach her as she listens to every word I say! Well done!"
heh, i was the only person in the class who actually liked French!
Apparantly I also have 'a maturity and determination that is beyond my years'.
Heh
i didnt mind tho cos i wanted to fuck her
Up until yr10, I was a bit naughty, so they'd say I need to try harder. After that they were generally good :thumb:
My Physics teacher called me that because I didnt learn my formulae (sp)
Attendance for period: 17.04.1996 - 26.03.1997
Number of total seesions: 370
Number of authorised absences: 64
Number of unthorised absences: 19
Total percentage attendance: 82.7%
That was the last year at school. In the 3rd year I think it was @ summit like 36% attendance. Tut tut.
"Rebecca is a keen worker, however, she must learn to seperate socialising and class work. She seems to enjoy both at the same time more than others"
That usually was me until 6th year.
Until about 4th year.
Then it was "Brian seems to be distracted very easily"
Then in 6th year it was "Brian needs to attend more"
Oh dear.
"Rebecca, your attendance is abysmal!"
Har.
"Well, yeah, I've like, left."
"Ohh, ok, well, bring in your books and whatnot, and we'll take you off the register"
"Okay dokie."
lmao.
my year 11 report... RE
"Nicole has shown that she has an organised range of relevant knowledge, including specialist vocabulary. Nicole seems to have little or no recall of the topics studied"
I always thought he was a bit mad, the second was probably more accurate about me in RE though!
Another that makes me laugh is maths...
"I am pleased with the effort put into the first coursework task"
hehe he had to chase me around the school for six months to get me to hand it in!
I was good at most of school though honest!
But the best quote has to be from one of my geography teachers,
"His handwriting resembles the trail of an arthritic spider crawling across the page"
hehe class!
Has it improved any since then?
Well, that was in my last ever school report (last term), and I havent' written much since then! But I look at my handwriting 5 years ago and its quite neat, so its got worse as time's gone on...
eh well, at least there's word processing nowadays!
'Sara could do very well in this subject if she applied herself more'
'If i ever saw any of Sara's work, i would be able to give an accurate prediction of her grades. Unfortunately, as she has not yet handed in any, i am unable to'
That's basically what was written on every school report from years 7-11. 6th form was better, but still not brilliant!
