I think I failed just by reading the title
What makes you think you failed. I came out of every one of my exams thinking I failed but I've got 7 'O' grades and a higher (that's old style qualifications to you young lot).
OH MY GOD!! i couldnt agree more i found it really difficult, the questions were so weird, they didnt seem to relate to anything id learnt... i was sat completely confussed through the whole exam
how did you find the central concepts if you did it? i found that one was pretty good, thank god:)
I didt the central concepts in January im doing mammalian Phys on Thur
ive got growth, development and reproduction on thursday... good luck
we didnt get an option as students but i think the teachers chose to do GDR... its so long and so so boring... theres too much about plants it it:(
giberelins?
human reproduction definately:D plants im not so sure!
giberellins?! dont talk to me about the stupid buggers! I HATE PLANTS!!!
:crazyeyes
I walked out of central concepts cos i couldn't answer ANYTHING. It wasn't such a big deal cos it's a retake. But still.
I've got environmental bio on thurs. GAH
Anyone else think that there was a mistake on the last question, the one about peas and genetics? Shouldn't the two dominant alleles have been different description wise?
yeah that question was really weird... did anyone else put something along the line of
AaBb
aaBB
AAbb
aabb.....?!!
i got to annoyed to work it out, so i just guessed:D
nah, biology is great!:D
its just the sodding plants that make it crap:mad:
I could not understand that question SO i put a mixture of a's and b's hoping one may be correct
No but i thought that question was wrong! AND it took me about 10 minutes to work out that inulin was not insulin!
Oh well... one more to do and then never again!!!
Ywah i thought that and it didnt say below what the other one was did it? the lower case a's and b's were but the capital A's and B's were not!:(
What do you want to do next year?
What about you? What do you need to get?
hehe!! easy mistake!;) i found that one pretty hard too-didnt quite know what it was asking for:(
ah you see im going to study medicine so biology is pretty handy:D
... hmm gives you great faith in doctors when the potential ones dont have a clue about genetics:rolleyes:
The protien one if not folded correctly what did you guys put?
oh dear! that is weird
Clara, have you got chemistry tomorrow? If so, best of luck, I'm very nervous! :crazyeyes
yeppo, good luck to you too:)!
only *looks at clock* 5 more hours to go:crazyeyes
im so so nervous too!
It involves an essay, experimental skills section, module 7 questions and questions from modules 1-5.
It's over two hours long, I'm really worried about it!
I know there's people on here doing it too - please do badly so we can drag the grade boundaries down and pass!
Essay question on menopause though... :eek2:
Am so glad I revised thyroxine secretion on the way to the exam hall!
