What a difficult paper! I think i have failed! :(

    I think I failed just by reading the title

    What makes you think you failed. I came out of every one of my exams thinking I failed but I've got 7 'O' grades and a higher (that's old style qualifications to you young lot).

    OH MY GOD!! i couldnt agree more :( i found it really difficult, the questions were so weird, they didnt seem to relate to anything id learnt... i was sat completely confussed through the whole exam:confused:

    how did you find the central concepts if you did it? i found that one was pretty good, thank god:)

    we didnt get an option as students but i think the teachers chose to do GDR... its so long and so so boring... theres too much about plants it it:(

    ah, see, i didn't think unifying concepts was too bad.

    I walked out of central concepts cos i couldn't answer ANYTHING. It wasn't such a big deal cos it's a retake. But still.

    I've got environmental bio on thurs. GAH :mad:

    Anyone else think that there was a mistake on the last question, the one about peas and genetics? Shouldn't the two dominant alleles have been different description wise?

    I could not understand that question SO i put a mixture of a's and b's hoping one may be correct :D

    No but i thought that question was wrong! AND it took me about 10 minutes to work out that inulin was not insulin! :D

    In fact i think i made my plants pollinate with themselves! AAAA BBBB bbbb aaaa Thats what i thought at the time but then again i could think of anything :( i have failed!!!

    I think that question was wrong anyways, cos the dominant alleles had the same description, which was a little bizarre.

    Oh well... one more to do and then never again!!!

    Ywah i thought that and it didnt say below what the other one was did it? the lower case a's and b's were but the capital A's and B's were not!:(

    Uni - accounting and finance, so i don't see biology playing a huge part in that!

    What about you? What do you need to get?

    ah you see im going to study medicine so biology is pretty handy:D

    ... hmm gives you great faith in doctors when the potential ones dont have a clue about genetics:rolleyes: :)

    I'd hate to butt in on the OCR posse :p, but us AQA lot had the most bizarre question on a breed of hermaphrodite cucumbers yesterday. :eek2:

    My equivalent AQA paper is tomorrow
    It involves an essay, experimental skills section, module 7 questions and questions from modules 1-5.
    It's over two hours long, I'm really worried about it!

    Essay question on menopause though... :eek2:

    Am so glad I revised thyroxine secretion on the way to the exam hall! :D
