Argh, how could I forget Megadeth! One of my favourite bands too.
the dumdums, happy pop punk at its finest:)
You silly billy!
I remember Duece aswell, was Craig the blonde one?
Yeah he was. Were you there the day at the Copthorne with the fire engines?
Loved..getting a wee bit mixed up there! It wasn't me that snogged him,it was our mate Ann... it was some other c-list celeb that I snogged!
I also wish Deuce never broke up although if they hadn't I can picture us still following them up and down the country!
I don't really wish that Take That never spilt cos after Robbie left I wasn't bothered!
The Verve, James, Black Grape and Divine Comedy are bands I miss..
I'd love it if the original members of Guns n Roses got back together as well. But they'd probably be crap now.
Was sad when the Smashing pumpkins split but not devastated.
And the student in me obviously has to say I wish James hadn't split. Went to see them in '99 (i think) and it was surprisingly one of the best live gigs I've ever been to.
...and the Seahorses..
Kavana? Wasn't that one person? Not a band as such - 'cuse my memory.
Can I add Pepsi and shirley to the list??
xxx
ARE YOU TOTALLY STUPID!? Nirvana were one of the most influential bands EVER! And Kurt Cobain was a brilliant man! I seriously think you need a new brain!
Rage against the machine
The smashing pumpkins
Nirvana
all been said before
yeah i was gonna mention that! Cant actually remember anything he sang though!
Ahhh they were ace.
Also, Nirvana ended at about the right time. It really was better for them to burn out than fade away. If they were still around now they wouldn't be huge, they would be hated, because they could not have kept it up all this time. Plus we wouldn't have the greatness that is the Foo Fighters (although Chris Shiflett might still be in No Use For A Name and I would be happy!)
THis thread should be about who you wished hadn't died...
Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, John Bonham, Janis Joplin...
i can make you feel good,
crazy
MFEO
i think!! yes im sad, but i was a huge fan!!!
no
fool
he just has an opinion
don't deny it, you wish they were still here too...
