how much do u eat in a day?

people often tell me i dont eat enuf in a day and i was wondering how much people eat in an averge day. i usually eat summit like a choc bar for lunch to giv me energy and then summit healthy for dinner. please post and tell me wot u eat in a day

That is a terrible diet! how can you possible survive on that!
In a day i eat:
Breakfast: Banana, fresh orange
Lunch: Tuna Roll or soup
Tea: Salad or pasta
Supper: Toast
and when i want to snack i have chocolate or crisps! and im not overweight, its a normal diet! i used to starve myself and i bloated up like a fish! so eat a balanced diet!

that is a good diet. you should probably eat something more like this. you could maybe even do with eating a little bit more....
i have a shake thing for breakfast
chocolate meal bar thing for lunch
and then a balenced dinner
if i snack i'll try and eat friut.
and for supper i have a small bowl of specail K.
i wont be eatin much else tho cos im goin out for me tea to the pub:)
Lunch: Nothing or something like a chicken sandwich.
Dinner: Usually whatever my Mum makes which is usually something pasta or meat based.
I don't eat very well at all. *shrugs*
Breakfast= nutrigrain bar
snack= crisps, jaffa cakes, sandwich,chocolate bar
lunch=crisps,sandwiches, 2xchoc bars, apple, orange
snack= cake, yoghurt
dinner= big meal like pasta and meat and veg
pudding= ice cream/chocolate
snack= chocolate bar/something sweet
supper= crisps/pork pies
Hmmm, i tink i eat too much.
Today:
breakfast: 2 pieces of toast
snack: hot cross bun
lunch: packet of crisps, a cheese roll, a twix and a can of coke
snack: banana
and for dinner I'm having gammon and chips, then I'll prob have a chocolatey yoghurt thingy for dessert and then something like a twix between dinner and bedtime.
I'm supposed to be eating more to put on weight, typical isnt it? :rolleyes:
I used to eat like there was no tomorrow. And after getting some new medicine, I can go a day without noticing that I need to eat.
I don't like it, as I really appericiate food. And I hate declining stuff I like, as I can't eat it.
Im not really hungry that often but I really should just try stuffing myself with food to get fatter..... any tips?
Well you'd lose a lot more weight if you ate something fibre/carbohydrate based as soon as you got up (ie cereal and skimmed milk) and then something with protein and a bit of carbohydrates for lunch (ie chicken sandwich).
At present not only are you damaging your health but you're also not losing as much weight as you would do if you did as suggested- which should increase your metabolism a lot.
And obviously excersise helps!

Breakfast: Glass of orange juice, bowl of cereal
Break: Two pieces of fruit (satsuma/grapes/banana)
Lunch: Peanut butter sandwiches, carton of fruit juice, cake, maybe chocolate
After school: Pitta bread+jam or chocolate spread
Dinner: What Mum cooks - egg fried rice, stir fry, pizza+chips, jacket potato+coleslaw
Evening: Cup of tea, a biscuit or three :P
I don't drink enough water though; about 3 glasses a day, compared to 6-8 recommended!

im in catered halls at uni n we get really crap food so when i go home i really crave food like chinese, indian, fish n chips etc. i just eat n eat. im trying to look at food in a diff light now coz i used to think about it way too much.
today ive had beans on toast n will be havin my tea at 6 n thats it. which is pretty good considerin im hungover!
im not fat but i could do with losin a few pounds coz bikini season is on the way n my bum int what it used to be!
But it varies from day to day really- and I exercise more a less every day so I burn it off
Breakfast:Bowl of cereal (fruit and Fibre)
Lunch: Sandwhiches- some fruit and ornage juice
Dinner: What ever my mam cooks- or sometimes I have a dinner at lunch and l;eave it for the day.
Ive being eating to much bread m trying to cut back!

i've only been up since half 1 tho.
Break at work: tea and toast
Lunch: salad, pasta ( i love pasta, my grandmother is italian ) and a beefsteak.
Dinner: Sandwhiche, chocolate and ice cream
Breakfast: Fruit, Toast (Brown)
Lunch: A 'nana, maybe nuts again
Dinner: Fish, whole grain rice, veg, mainly fresh organic foods. Some red meats.
Drinks: Soy milk, Water (Mainly about 4L of water a day)
Snacks: Fruit, nuts, some cheese.
No sweets or fizzy drinks..their :yuck:
This is what I'm based on most days:
Breakfast:
- Porridge or two pices of bread + jam
- 2 glasses of water
- 1 cup of coffee
- 2 oranges
Lunch:
- Cheese sandwiches, using 3 or 4 slices of bread
- 2 glasses of water
Supper:
- E.g. pasta, potato salad or pizza
- 2 glasses of water
Snackings:
- Another 5 glasses of water (10 or 11 a day in total)
- A banana or yoghurt, every couple of days
- A choclate bar once a week
- Two cups of tea, in addition to my breakfast coffee (three hot drinks a day)
Exercise:
- Walk 3 miles a day. Every day.
- Clubbing in weekends, usually dancing for 7 hours.
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 12 stone
I can't say that I eat too much or exercise too little. Obviously, my metabolism has a screw loose.
Breakfast;
- One glass of apple juice
- 3 Large mugs coffee
- two slices toast with rasp jam
Lunch;
- Some 'pasta n' sauce' thing I made
- 4 x 800mg gurana tablets
Afternoon;
- One mug chai tea
Dinner;
- Creamy pasta dish with chease, carrots, broccoli, corgerts and artichokes
is the slimfast thing working?
i could really do with dropping a stone before summer
Breakfast: 3x Weetabix and some Blackcurrant Juice
Lunch: Ham sandwich/pizza/soup (or all three!) and another drink
Dinner: Rice or Pasta with some type of meat
Throughout the day: Sweets, sweets and more sweets. Also about 5 mugs of strong Earl Grey or Red Bush Tea

breakfast: bowl of cereal normally Honey Nut Shredded Wheat or Coco Pops
lunch: depends... if im at college i'll have fries, water or dilute orange and a bacon or chip buttie. if im at home it will normally be crisps and a tuna sandwhich
snack: chocolate
Tea: McDonalds (once or twice a fortnight) or cereal or bacon sandwhich or pizza or fish and chips. sometimes waffles
snack: crisps or chicholate
supper: toast
i eat too much though and i have a bad habit of eating wen im bored :banghead: *walks away wondering of how to stop this*
wholemeal tomato sandwich for breakfast.
tesco low fat roasted veg arrabiata followed by a mullerlite for lunch
for dinner I'll probably have quorn chilli that is virtually fat free or boiled rice with roasted veg and soy sauce.
I've also had a litre of water and 2 cans of diet coke. I'll prob drink another litre of water.
This is a good day for me. I swing betwen having the worlds best diet and being super strict to eating the biggest load of crap ever. I'm an all or notthing kinda girl.
It's also v.likely that I will gt very drunk tonight, which is hundreds of empty cals.
