A higher proportion of UK citizens believe that homosexuality is sometimes wrong than belive there is nothing wrong with at all and this makes us a liberal society?
Surely this assumption is incorrect?

Anyone who thinks there is something wrong at all with homosexuality needs their head examined, to put it very mildly. I’d be very sad to learn a majority of people in this country think that way.
Really? To play Devil's Advocate somewhat:
What if I opine that homosexuality is a waste of reproductive resources and hence a bad thing? You may disagree with that, but I think you must concede that it is a fairly rationaly thing to say, not worthy of a head examination. To give a second example, how about the opinion that certain sexually transmitted diseases spread more easily through the homosexual (or bisexual) community, and hence homosexual practices pose a health risk, and are wrong? Again, that reasoning isn't totally off the wall, even though it isn't rock solid. If anything, the premises are the things in doubt, not the reasoning.
You see my point?
At the end of the day it boils down to personal choice and tolerance. One of the most fundamental human rights must be the right to do as one pleases so long as we do not harm others. Sexual orientation is nobody's concern but your own's. I might personally dislike what others enjoy- I find homosexual acts very unappealing for myself, as I do eating spinach- but that doesn't give me the right to classify it as 'wrong' and I won't lecture, criticise or persecute others for indulging in same-sex acts or eating green smelly leaves.
Unless there are issues of, say, public health. That was the reason for my choice of second example.
Also, I might be pinnickity and ask for a justification of your "fundamental human right."
My point was not so much to argue for or against homosexuality as to demonstrate that not all anti-homosexual opinion is as irrational and off-the-wall as one might think.
Sorry to go off topic with my ignorance but what does that phrase mean? Sorry its something i've always wondered.
One who argues against a cause or position, not as a committed opponent but simply for the sake of argument or to determine the validity of the cause or position.
Seriously, there are lots of WORRs in the world ('Men Only' mag, for example) and we could do with a few more, particularly in the third world (they seem to prefer WARs (wrack and ruin) as a means of population control at the mo).
With regard to attitudes to homsexuality, there's an interesting thread on the Digital Spy forums about a group called TATA who have apparently released a pop video featuring two young women making out. At least one person who would react very differently had it been two young men is crestfallen not to have seen it yet and not, I think, so that he can condemn with a sense of perspective
That was what I tried to prove in, saying that I didn't like nudity in the "Sex - Sexy" thread.
The group is called TATU and the video is average at best
Its completely understandable for a man to be repulsed by male homosexual sex and turned on by female homosexual sex.
You are right though, ive not met many women who were turned on by male porn...but then women are very different creatures to men. Men are driven far more by visuals than women when it comes to porn.
