Hi all, Following our recent update, we’ll be upgrading the theme of our discussion boards throughout the day to enable pre-moderation.

I think the new design reminds of me this 1 line from shrek….
It might just be a case of getting used to it, but i'm really not a fan of it so far.

We've been working alongside the developers and shared the collated list of errors and questions with them that we gathered from you and our team in 2025 when we did the first round of changes, so they've been aware of the feedback and working to try and resolve those issues.
I realise its super frustrating to still see glitches and errors though, so please do keep flagging these and we'll continue working on getting them ironed out.
I just want to flag something…. I know I’m not around much anymore you do realise that some of the issues that have been brought to you aren’t just ”glitches and errors” they are accessibility issues - Correct me if I’m wrong @independent_and from what I’ve seen, there’s been no reassurance to say that they’ve been fixed ?? So surely if these are issues that couldn’t have been ironed out since the first test back last year, then whatever software is being used shouldn’t be used.
Is this going to be addressed or even acknowledged….. orrrr is it just going to be ignored in the hope I’ll forgot because trust me I won’t. Especially when it comes to accessibility ?? @TheMix
Probably not. I raised a concern a week or two ago and it never even got acknowledged.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a polite post that we are seeing all of your questions, and are working hard with the rest of the team to make sure we get you the right answers. This is taking some time, we do apologise massively about that! But we don't want to find ourselves sharing false information, hence our silence on this so far. We will get you the answers to all your questions when we have them! Thank you all for your patience through this.
I understand that Callum I totally do and I don’t mean to sound like I’m being horrible when I post, However I do feel like that message was slightly passive aggressive considering I’m sure you understand from our end that when we raise a concern and it doesn’t even get acknowledged, it does feel like we’re being ignored.
Now I know none of you would want to do intentionally, but I guess maybe for future reference even a reply just to acknowledge that you’ve seen it, without us feeling like we have to comment for that to happen.
can I just say I’m actually really disappointed now that no one’s addressed my question or even provided an update … a question that for me and a significant proportion of people who access the boards, think Is a really important question.
Hello all, we understand how disappointing this has all felt, we just want to reassure you that the developers are aware and will continue doing what they can to resolve these issues. We know that these updates have resulted in the boards changing the way they look and feel, and unfortunately how easy they are to use for some users, which we in no way wanted. However, Premod and age verification is a legal requirement. At this moment in time, we do not have a time frame for when/how they will be fixed, which we know is disappointing to hear, but we will do our best to keep you updated along the journey with us. Accessibility is something we will continue to make sure is improved.

It’s not just about using the boards though. The age check has placed me outside of the age range, and now the option to upload digital ID has disappeared. And even if it hadn’t disappeared, I tried to set it up multiple times and the screen reader just makes it near on impossible.
@Verity I understand the reasoning for the changes, but it's also a legal requirement for accessibility adjustments to be made for users with disabilities. As @independent_ says, the digital ID option isn't accessible in this case for them, which means that they can't do the age verification at all, since the selfie age estimator failed, and risks being kicked off boards because of it. And to make it worse, accessibility concerns have been raised for months on end now, and all we're told is that they'll get back to us about it, with no actual answers still.
Absolutely agree with @Nathan above. Age verification isn’t the only legal requirement at play here and just quoting that back to someone who, if the tech was functioning correctly, wouldn’t be able to post through no fault of their own feels like just trying to brush the issue under the carpet.
