It's so brave of you to find the strength to speak to Shout whenever you need immediate support @LolaPumpkin13, please continue to do that when you need them, they are there 24/7. I'm wondering what is usually the outcome of those conversations? I'm just wondering if they have helped you with any coping strategies or finding any professional support?

I just want me back but I don’t think I will get her back

It makes sense you'd want the old you back, it can be so difficult to let go of the past sometimes. When you say the old you, what specifically about your old self do you miss the most I wonder?

@LolaPumpkin13 you're not annoying anyone, we're here to listen and support you through this. We can hear how much you're struggling following the breakup and more recently with your ex's behaviour and the argument. I'm hearing that you're feeling empty after spending so much time with your ex, which is completely understandable. How are you feeling today I wonder?

Also, I'm curious, have you had any support with all of this since the breakup at all, maybe some professional support like counselling?

I’m in counselling and I’m just playing some Roblox and I just don’t understand what the thoughts mean but I’m just tired tbh

I know this must be so frustrating @LolaPumpkin13 to not fully understand your thoughts and feelings. Playing some Roblox sounds like a good distraction with this happening though. I'm curious, is understanding your feelings something that you have discussed with your counsellor recently?

I'm also wondering how counselling is going for you, are you finding it useful?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 341 The Mix Regular

I’ve not had that many sessions so far I’ve told my counsellor as much as I can think of I I did start writing things down because I thought was waiting for counselling on the nhs I was wrong but I just want to understand the thoughts as I really can’t cope anymore

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 341 The Mix Regular

I just want to understand these thoughts and move on

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 341 The Mix Regular

I just don’t think anyone understands because I get told it is just thoughts but how do I deal with the thoughts

  • VerityVerity Community Manager Posts: 253 The Mix Regular

Hey @LolaPumpkin13 I understand how frustrating this can be and well done for writing your feelings down, that's a great idea, have you found it helpful?

I can see how being told that your feelings are 'just thoughts' can be unhelpful. If you could desbribe these thoughts you are having, what words with you give them?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 341 The Mix Regular

I have but I’ve stopped writing tbh and I just can’t do it anymore

  • VerityVerity Community Manager Posts: 253 The Mix Regular

I hear you @LolaPumpkin13 what do you think is making it most difficult to continue writing?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 341 The Mix Regular

because I can not cope anymore with all of it
