Thanks for sharing this @LolaPumpkin13 it sounds like a lot is going on, and letting go can be incredibly difficult and doesn't happen overnight. You're strong for sharing this, and for working at this so hard for so long. You deserve to feel some peace. Can I ask, what do you do to help keep yourself safe when things feel too overwhelming? This could be anything that distracts you or brings you some peace?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

My world feels quiet still I’m just tired off missing him when it isn’t the same for him

Watching TikToks, cooking and watching films sound like good ways to help you relax when things get too much and too loud, you're strong for using those to help you cope with everything @LolaPumpkin13. How are you feeling today I wonder? And did you manage to do something to distract yourself yesterday?

I have been arguing with my ex which I didn’t stray he just knows how to start me off honestly I’m done

Hey @LolaPumpkin13 it sounds like this argument your ex made you feel frustrated which is understandable, arguments are never easy but I'm sure having this argument with your ex brought up a lot of emotions, do you want to share more about how this made you feel?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

he doesn’t care how I feel which is very upsetting

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

honestly we said some very hurtful things which is hard because it was completely different then

  • VerityVerity Community Manager Posts: 311 The Mix Regular

Hey @LolaPumpkin13 that must have been really hard, hearing and saying things to eachother that you know are hurtful. Feeling like this person dosn't care about you must be upsetting. If you don't mind me asking, where was this argument left? Do you feel like it got less heated towards the end or do you see there being another argument?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

it was on insta and because he knows how to start me off then I start on him. He has been completely like the opposite he has been when we was together

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

and now he doesn’t like it after i told him he made me suicidal but it wasn’t ok to feel me the way i did because apparently i made him suicidal

  • CallumCallum Community Manager Posts: 189 Helping Hand

Hey @LolaPumpkin13 it sounds like such a tricky situation, it's unfair that he's acting so differently compared to when you were in a relationship with him, and that he's blaming you for feeling suicidal. How are things with him today, have they calmed down at all?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

he has been like it for months no matter what I tell he just says something awful back

  • CallumCallum Community Manager Posts: 189 Helping Hand

@LolaPumpkin13 that's frustrating that it's been like this for months now, you don't deserve that. I'm curious, is there maybe a way you could distance yourself from him to reduce the level of interaction you have with him to avoid this situation?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

I can it’s just hard as we was together for almost a month

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

    A year sorry

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

I don’t think I’m going to get much better tbh no matter how people I talk too

  • CallumCallum Community Manager Posts: 189 Helping Hand

Hey @LolaPumpkin13 it's so tough when you feel like you're not going to get much better, and I completely understand how difficult it is when you were with him for almost a year. How have things been more recently following the argument?

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

it is still going on I’m just trying understand the thoughts really but no one is telling me what they mean

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

I just want to let go really and I want to get better

  • VerityVerity Community Manager Posts: 311 The Mix Regular

Hey @LolaPumpkin13 I'm hearing you want to better understand your feelings, do you feel comfortable going into detail on what these feelings are that you wish to understand better? It's really great to hear you want to get better, we're here to support you.

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

my head is constantly hurting and the thoughts are why I had theses thoughts of going out and sleeping with other people that I didn’t love my ex boyfriend thoughts of being single thoughts of cheating on him I just want to understand what it means

  • VerityVerity Community Manager Posts: 311 The Mix Regular

Hey @LolaPumpkin13 thanks for sharing this, although it may not feel it, having racing confusing thoughts after a break up can be really normal, but I'm sure this dosn't make it any easier. What you have been through/going through can stir up a lot of emotions, it sounds like you are feeling a mixture of anger, loneliness, guilt and curiosity, would you say that's right?

None of this means you are a bad person, it makes sense that you are questioning everything, how you felt about your ex, having thoughts of being with other people, this sounds like you are just processing everything you have been through.

  • LolaPumpkin13LolaPumpkin13 Posts: 424 Listening Ear

I just don’t want to put someone else through that and it was in the relationship I’m just tired all the time

  • CallumCallum Community Manager Posts: 189 Helping Hand

It makes sense you don't want to put anyone else through that @LolaPumpkin13, it sounds like you're so thoughtful for thinking of others. I'm wondering what support you have had while you're dealing with all of this? You don't deserve to be alone in this.
