Another course

I had thing on Tuesday where I saw someone from an organisation who are supporting me, in June I did a course basically getting team working skills,  communication skills etc basically different skills like that its for people aged 16 to 25 basically gaining skills like that working with people 16 plus but also my age 22 23 24 etc so they suggested that so they have another course with that in September if I didn't find a job by then I wont get paid but its a similar course where I'll get similar skills working on them then get a week work experience as part of the course too, im not going to get paid and all my family i think just think im going to be like out work for the rest of my life they've kinda hinted it.

I think the course should help me but I just feel pressured like I have been trying different things for a few years, had setbacks and try to get into work for a long time now and I'm still trying. Im still not there yet and want to do, I have been suggested doing this course and then doing placement sessions which I previously done a couple and failed so they recommend to do another course that I mentioned it will be 3 months starting at the end of September. I just feel pressured and behind in life I know Im on my own journey but I don't know why mines so slow, they just said this should be like just a final course to ensure Im ready and stuff, I could also still look for courses, before or during the course etc.

Hey @Redemption, I'm sorry that you didn't get a reply sooner. I can hear how you've been given the option of another course that comes with work experience/placement sessions. On the one hand, it sounds like it could help to further develop your skills; on the other hand, you mention how you feel pressure from family and past experience to focus on a job instead.

From previous posts, you've mentioned that you're keen to get a paid role as soon as possible. Is it possible that you're able to seek both at the same time? That way, you're still focusing on getting the paid role, but you're also giving yourself the option of this course as a backup too. We're here to listen to you.

Hey @Azziman thanks so much for replying, I hope you've been well. That's what I will probably do keep applying before and during to get into work because I can always quit the course if I got something. Everything just feels really uncertain right now its hard.
