@River I have, just waiting for it to kick in. I fell over like an idiot trying to get my brothers helmet on him to cushion his headbanging and knocked all my leg in the process. I thought it would go away after an hour but clearly not. ๐ญ

updateee - my last day is now sunday, i wasnโt at all expecting that to be the outcome since we are meant to give 1 months notice and sunday is 4 days away lol so as much as i am relieved, im also kinda sad?
@shannon_164 well done. I know it's a really anxiety ridden thing sending in a resignation text, and i'm so happy it went well for you. It's normal to feel a sense of sadness when leaving any workplace, because it's a change from normality and there's small things you'll miss from it, but you have to remind yourself, your moving to a better workplace, to bigger and better things elsewhere.

@Redemption I'm used to it thanks, have been since i was 11, it's just that doing it with a broken leg is new ๐ I fell over trying to sort out one of his meltdowns last night. But we both got sleep thankfully, him at 3, me at half 3

@Redemption yeah, all fine now, my leg killed when i fell over though, but the pain meds have helped ease that now. And it's the sort of thing you get used to after a while you know. 12 years of it makes it a whole lot easier than you think.
Anyway, how are you doing Bro?

@shannon_164 it's easy to lose track sometimes, cause the future is in the future and the here and now is obviously the first thing that will come to mind, but you have to keep reminding yourself your doing the right thing. You're doing a great job pushing through the social anxiety to have resigned and doing what's best for your future, and you really should be proud of yourself for it. Good luck with it all. 2 shifts to freedom sounds both fun and scary.

@DonnerKebab just the job searching and everything, little niggles that add up in life like tech issues, little fustrations, having to drive people about and reduce things for it, I have my meeting tomorrow regarding my next steps, that like my job searching and little fustrating things then I struggled to sleep last night its so hard sometimes.

@Redemption I get it bro. It builds up after enough time to the point of anything becoming overwhelming. I think the saying is the straw that breaks the camels back. It's just about trying to hold on until that brighter time. You're already looking at next steps, you've added something to your CV this last few months, you are making progress, so well done.
And i get worried myself at times about losing time. I'm trying to put away any money i can, and investing it. My aim is 50 a week which i'm failing miserably on. Have you heard of compound interest at all?
