i wouldve gotten cookie dough but they werent selling them at poundland so i got chocolate instead @DonnerKebab its strange cause they were only selling three flavours. i think mine was around the same price as yours.
All i'm thankful for is they don't charge domino's pizza prices for tubs of it. It's like £8 for a smaller tub. It's bad enough being £5 most of the time for a full tub. Way too expensive.
the three flavours were chocolate and two others i cant quite remember. i didnt pay much attention to the other ones as they were more expensive. the other two flavours were like £3.75 whilst the chocolate one was roughly £2.50. i agree, domino's charge so much for it and i dont know why. @DonnerKebab
this is why i prefer smaller pizza chains tbh. i got a small double pepperoni pizza with stuffed crust and a can of coca cola all for £9! thats worth it. @DonnerKebab
They do a 12 inch pizza, chips, donner meat and a dip for £9. Before, they did an opening months deal where they did 12 inch pizza's half price at £4.50 each and it was legimately good ingredients and good quality. Domino's have fallen far.
And £10 for a 4 slice pizza is just mad prices Shannon. Toffuna, sounds like you have amazing taste in pizza cause that is a legendary order.
damn your local sounds really nice. i wish i can find a place that has good value for good prices like that. oh yeah and i forgot to mention that i got my garlic sauce for free which was a nice addition to my order. thanks @DonnerKebab it is legendary.
Garlic sauce..... your legendary taste in orders just gets better and better. And yeah, my local only opened about 6 months ago. Solid place.
@River it was in my home city where i'd lived my whole life so i knew where the site was, and it was only a mile walk through a place called Markeaton park, so i just went on a trek, fed some ducks with a sandwich i had brought with me on the way, and got to lessons an hour late. Wasn't too bad actually.
@DonnerKebab nice, i hope they stay in business because what theyre doing is a good way to get people to pay. garlic sauce is top tier. i might go to a pizza place tomorrow but itll depend on if my dad gives me £5 in physical cash or in my bank account. if he gives me £5 in physical cash ill get the pizza, if he gives it to me in my bank account ill just get a tesco meal deal or something lol. this is because i already have £5 in physical cash so if he gives me £5 in physical cash i can buy the same order that i brought last time. its cause youre not really allowed to mix card and cash together when youre paying.
@toffuna101 i hate when that happens. £5 in the account, £5 in cash. If you have a post office near you, you can ask to withdraw £5 from your account in cash, or any exact amount. I do it with barclays all the time at the post office.
And I spoke a little to them. They don't make huge profit margins per pizza sold because the price is low, just enough to break even and a little bit of profit. But because the amount of customers is so high now, it means they make a solid amount of profit overall when everything adds up. And Garlic is the best sauce.
wrong thread sry lol
I finished up at derby uni in november what are the odds 😂 you actually know markeaton park? i was at the markeaton street campus right near it
i could to be fair but ive never withdrew money from my account. i dont even know how much i have on there at this point. but i know that im broke lol. oh and about your local its good that a lot of people are interested. @DonnerKebab
@toffuna101 don't you have mobile banking or online banking at all? Just to check your balance so you know how much you could withdraw if you wanted to?
i do but i dont have access to it yet because my parents think im too young to access it even though they explicitly agreed for me to have a debit card in the first place. i gotta wait until im 18 apparently. im almost 17 anyways so its not that big of a deal. i turn 17 in july, @DonnerKebab
i might do that actually thats a good idea. i just gotta find a cash machine to the town im going to tomorrow. @DonnerKebab i cant wait to get my own credit card when i get a job. my dad says if i find a job ill be able to have one, not straight after i turn 18.
