    @DonnerKebab no most likely not

    i wanna become a devoted christian and fully embrace my religion. if youve seen my post about christianity youd know that i want to switch from orthodox to protestant. the problem is i have the king james version of the bible, and if i want to fully embrace it i need to memorise a few quotes and learn about protestant christianity myself. and damn the vocabulary is complicated. but ill get used to it eventually. i want to spend my summer productively so i feel like this will be a good starting place other than going out with the carer. is anyone here christian?

    I attend online church services for my local church, and go quite rarely when i can. It's church of England. I'm still trying to work everything out myself about it, but i can talk you through a few things here and there if you want, though i might not be the most ideal for it.

    You may want to look at something called alpha if the church you might go to has it. It's like an entry point to Christianity or for people returning, or for people entering a new church.

    i dont think its for me honestly and my local church doesnt offer it. id rather become protestant christian the traditional way. @DonnerKebab

    @toffuna101 i totally get it. but what i can say is that they will all welcome you with open arms whichever way you become a protestant. How are your family with it might i ask?

    @DonnerKebab yeah true. theyre ok with it, i mean im almost an adult so im old enough to make my own decisions in who i want to believe in.

    @River sit down, so you don't fall. It might be worth calling 111 if it's severe. It could indicate something major wrong, or it might just be stress or something else. If you've eaten, had sleep, and drank water, then it's definitely worth seeing your GP, as annoying as you said they were to you.

    @toffuna101 I'm very proud of you. It takes a lot of courage, especially at that age to make that leap. Even though your parents were okay with it, it must have been scary telling them and to make that leap yourself. You're a very brave person, and i want you to know that we all see it and are proud.

    The Anglican church that i'm in is community heavy, supporting one another, and taking care of one another, as are nearly all denominations i think, so you'll find people at whichever protestant church you go to who will welcome you with open arms and a variety of community events you could partake in perhaps.

    i think the one i went to today is an anglican church or maybe a protestant church with no denomination if thats possible @DonnerKebab

    @toffuna101 i think so. You could ask next time you go. But again, it's very brave of you to take this leap, and we are all very proud. Your a brave person my friend.

    thank you. yeah its most likely anglican because the local church that i went to is linked with the church of england and the church of england is anglican. when did you realise you were an anglican? @DonnerKebab

    @toffuna101 i haven't really explored any other Christian denominations, just Anglicanism. I explored that bit of Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism, and came to the conclusion that I believe more strongly in Anglican Christianity than the other religions. Currently, I am only recently starting to learn about different Christian branches and am still making my mind up as to which one i feel most comfortable with and believe in the most.

    As for when i realised i was Christian, it was about 19. No Christianity in my family ever, or any links to it. Just atheists, which made it a bit of a scary jump for me revealing i was starting to get into Christianity and figuring out where to start, which is why i'm telling you that i see how brave you were too taking the leap into exploring other branches of Christianity. it can be scary at times, especially if it doesn't align with your family beliefs which is what makes you all the more courageous.

    thats interesting. well im glad you found something that you can align one of your beliefs to, and that just happens to be religious. i might as well be an anglican too since its similar to catholicism its a good balance between that and protestantism, its just that it leans more to being a protestant. what i find really interesting is that anglicanism used to be catholic but in the 16th century that changed. @DonnerKebab
