I think I'm the only person who hasn't got an air fryer yet 😂. I'm looking at getting one for myself though so I can cool but also bake because I hear that you can bake in them as well.

Hahaha @Amy22, I know right. I love how at secondary school they told us we wouldn’t always have a calculator in our pockets, when most of us now have smartphones with calculators built into them.

Airfryers are truly fantastic! We’ve had one for about a year and we use the oven much less. Plus an airfryer is 100 times easier to clean than an oven. I’m off to put some food in the airfryer shortly, I still have a couple of greggs sausage, bean and cheese melts from Iceland that I’m thinking about doing. They take 31 minutes in the oven (plus the 15 minute preheating time) but only 21 minutes in the airfryer with no preheating required, it’s brilliant!
I hope we’re all doing ok today, with there being no chat I can imagine some are feeling a bit lonely and if you are, we’re all here

I'm pootling along, still have the hoovering to do even tho I did change the bedding yesterday. Reasonably nice day today so I'm hoping to get the washing out. Just trying to push myself to get on with things. I'm on shift with the support group I look after for a couple more hours so keeping an eye on that make sure people are behaving

I’m glad you’re doing ok. I’m just trying to get all the jobs done before I don’t want to do them anymore. I have put the washer on, need to go grab the hoover run that round and then I’ll hang the washing out. Also showered and got changed. The big part for me is just getting started. If I sit down on my phone I will never get started lol,, tho that’s harder not to do on days I’m looking after the group.

@independent_ yh so so proud of her, so excited to see her round. Hopefully this Peer to peer service opens soon. It is great to see new faces around too.
Well done for doing all this stuff. I might do a bit of house work, thing we're just a bit hectic at home but hopefully calmed down now. Probably going to look and apply to jobs now and chase stuff up. Only so much to do though when out of work, I'm just hoping things get sorted with work for me too but hopefully really soon I will, I'm just trying to stay positive and all that. It is hard after things that have happened but I'll be ok.

Hopefully you can get sorted soon @TheNightmare, I’ve started getting job adverts in my emails again though I’m not really looking atm. Managing energy levels and all that. I need to get things at home sorted first.

@independent_ if you don't mind answering, are you the only 1 at home ? We don't use the dryer in this weather too, we never had one till a few years ago when we moved here.
Yh thats completely fair that you aren't looking now, up to you, you have different circumstances , we all do. I wish you good luck in everything though. You definitely seem like you make the most out of your time work, house work is important, I might paint the fence later not sure.
