Hello everyone! How has everyone's January been?
I'm back again with the monthly achievement threads for 2025 this time! I started doing these threads because I think we can all benefit from reflecting on our victories - it helps us feel great about ourselves, and I find that our achievements serve as little reminders that we're doing the best we can to get through the challenges of life
I'd like to hear what things the community have done during this month that they are proud of! You can mention as many achievements as you like
Here are mine:
- I managed to persevere through a stressful exam period (it's so challenging to study during the winter where lots of things are happening!)
- I've developed confidence in driving on my own - I'm very thankful for my family supporting me with this
- I started to get back into doing mindfulness meditation and journalling! I've also started scrapbooking and I'm really looking forward to continuing
- I've made good progress with my psychology dissertation
- I've been completing training for my volunteer role in a hospital which I'm so excited to start soon!
Well done for always doing your best, I'm so so proud of you all
See you for the next achievement check-in in February!

@sinead276, I hear you, it feels like it's been January for ages! I'm so glad that you finally managed to do things that you've been putting off, and you've done an amazing job for staying strong throughout this month
I'm so proud of you all for getting by, you're all incredible
for me my achievements are:
-starting my new job (it’s super duper part time but i’m excited!!)
-getting an interview for my dream oh (waiting to hear back still)
-securing an offer after intervening for my back up job
-officially hitting the 100 texters supported on shout, now i’m a few away from 150!!
-staying on top of college work (for now lol)
-surviving exams earlier this month
-i am unsure as to how but getting a bit more confident?
proud of everyone for all that use have achieved - if this month you have just simply survived, that is an achievement and i am proud of you🩷
@shannon_164 , so lovely to hear your achievements too - and staying on top of college work whilst doing exams at the same time is no easy feat at all, so congratulations! It also sounds like a busy month with starting your new job, and securing interviews too. How exciting!
@sinead276 I love that you've been feeling more courageous this month, and you're so right - getting through this month alone is a huge achievement, esspecially as its often one of the hardest times of the year for many people. What do you also feel you need most from February?
@Amy22, hugs to you too for getting through January and these wintery days - we did it!
