A farewell to our Boards Moderator, Sara ๐Ÿ’›

Heya all,

We're so sad to share that Sara, our lovely Boards Mod who had the username @genderless_fungi, is leaving the mod team. Please take a moment to read her message below. We are sharing this link with Sara so please do leave some lovely messages of support below. I know we'll miss her in the team! <3
Hello everyone!

This is Sara, I have been a boards moderator here for a couple of years now - I have loved this community and I hope I was able to support as many of you as I could while volunteering.

Unfortunately, I will need to step down from my role due to uni starting again and having a very busy schedule around work. I'm going to miss interacting with members here once a week, I've met strong and amazing people during my time here and I hope this experience will stay with me for a long time.

I know that, for many of you, this will keep being a compassionate and positive space where young people feel safe enough to share their feelings and to seek help when in need; this is thanks to the people volunteering as well as all of you members, these discussion boards wouldn't be the same without your compassion and your ability to create a sense of community built on mutual support.

I wish all of you good luck with everything and I hope everyone has a wonderful day :)

    Sara I don't think we have met before but I wanted to say I wish you all the best and good luck with your studies in university. I hope life is treating you well right now and thank you for all the amazing things you have done on here for fellow users like myself <3.

    Oh Genderless Fungi I know that account so so well. They were really amazing and helpful to me and I couldn't have had an amazing lovely person to talk to in those long evenings as well <3.
