What's your New Year's Eve plans?
What's everyone's plans for New Year's Eve, if any?
In Scotland, we call it Hogmanay and it is a pretty big occasion. Edinburgh has a huge street party and basically shuts down the whole centre of town with different music acts playing on different streets, lots of food and drink and fun! They're also doing a silent disco this year too...
I've just seen they have put up a map of the street party and it looks chaotic haha

My family and I cook a lot of delicious meals like spaghetti, spring rolls, Spanish tortilla, milk flan and jelly! We eat them shortly after it turns midnight, it’s something I always looking forward to every year! We also have the tradition of hanging grapes on top of the doors and replacing them every New Year’s Eve for good luck!!

We pretty much cry every year singing Auld Lang Syne - so amazing that's it's become an international song
^honestly they have to make it as Scottish sounding as possible! 😅
