    I wish I knew their reasoning too. I used to think they were just being overprotective parents which ig makes sense but now I sometimes wonder if they just enjoy being in control and seeing me suffer.

    sometimes I try to sit them down and have a logical calm conversation with them about something to do with them controlling me and I can see the thoughts ticking in their brain like I can hear them thinking 'oh wait she has a point...' but they're just so so stubborn they still don't listen.

    @Xee YEAAA you can see their brains working for once, but mine just shout at me and tell me I'm wrong - I don't know if this is the same as your parents but the way the like to cover up and justify everything their doing by making excuses about it all
