    Squalene or squalane, according to google, is a naturally occurring oily substance often found in plants, animals and even on human skin. It's natures way of keeping things moisturised.

    Hyaluronic acid is also naturally occurring, and according to google, can also be found in our bodies- namely in joint tissue fluid.

    But I agree, when I didn't know anything about these things, I thought they weren't real either until I did a quick look online!
