    Sometimes staying at home for too long can make people feel a little coo-coo. It's good to get some fresh air and not spend too much time indoors. It can also be a little lonely spending all of your time alone and inside.

    I sometimes find when I've stayed indoors for too long I get easily agitated and start annoying my sister. I think we all need to get fresh air here and there, and some sunshine, and if you have a park nearby to see some greenery.
    How do you feel when you stay indoors for a long time?

    I think to a degree it can effect your ability to socialise and interact with people speaking from my own experience. But if you like being indoors you'll be alright lol just make sure to get fresh air every now and again 😉

    I think it depends on your needs and preferences. Some people prefer being indoors while others prefer being outdoors. If you prefer being indoors, then it's a good idea to think about how this might affect you and how you can lessen any negative affect. So for example, to help keep fit, you might want to try finding ways to exercise indoors and to help you socially, you might want to make an effort to keep in touch with friends. You might also want to go outdoors and take a short walk every now and then just so you get used to going out. If you have types of anxiety such as social anxiety or agoraphobia, then it's better to try going out rather than staying in where in the long term, your anxiety will increase.

    I'm wondering why you might think that everyone you meet is going to be bad? Unfortunately, it's likely there will be some bad people around but not everyone you meet will be bad. It can help to let follow general rules to keep safe. For example, let others know where you are going, what time you hope to get there and back, and stay in public areas. Make sure to have a phone and money on you and know the times of public transport. Don't arrange to go back to someone else's place or get in someone else's car if you don't know them well. And like being on the internet, you don't have to tell people stuff about your life either.

    If you are worried about meeting up with people or socialising, perhaps there is a safe way to do this? Maybe there are clubs or interests groups in your area that you could join? Or perhaps there is some volunteering you'd like to do where you can also meet like minded people?
