Hey @rori0690
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve struggled with drug addiction. It sounds awful, especially when it has interfered with your life and health so much.
Ideally, it would be best to stop having sex until you have been texted for HIV, but if you are going to continue then it’s best to use a condom to prevent the spread of any potential infection. You may also want to check with your doctor to make sure that you are not pregnant, or have any other gynaecological issues, despite the pregnancy test saying that you were and later having your period.
It sounds like you could do with some support. If you’d like support for drug addiction you can check out the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/drug-addiction-getting-help/ or FRANK https://www.talktofrank.com/ Not forgetting that you are now a member of our discussion boards https://community.themix.org.uk/ so feel free to introduce yourself and get support here too. You can also contact our team https://www.themix.org.uk/get-support/speak-to-our-team for one-to-one support too.
Take care
The drug most widely used with unprotected sex is almost certainly alcohol. That doesn’t mean sex in alcohol gives you an STI.
